There are no boxes for Fare Day Effect to be placed in. Their sound is one that is both fresh and dynamic, adding a much needed breath of realness to the over-saturated market of trendy/scene rock.
The seeds for what was soon to be Fare Day Effect were planted in 2005, when Steve and Marc met and realized they both had a passion for good music. The loose jamming soon turned into song writing that combined heaviness, funk, originality, and a sense of melody at the same time. It was not until late December 2005 when the search for the right lead singer was over and Jordan Rozenzweig became the newest addition to the band. Within the past year, a well-fitted bassist was soon to be claimed impossible until Adam Kunz, stepped in, thus fulfilling the last link to Fare Day Effect . With the band's sense of passion, intensity and emotion complete, the music has been sounding better than ever.
The name Fare Day Effect was derived from an idea from a little band called Pink Floyd. You might also learn about a similar thing in your high school chemistry class. Fare Day Effect has played countless shows throughout Southern Ontario, causing mayhem no matter how big or small the venue, creating both a solid fan base and buzz amongst the industry.
