With a delivery that is both laid-back and engaging, Sandman is recognizable on any track. Verbal stylings aside, his capacity to cultivate charming, witty lyrics have established him as one of the standout artists in his hometown, Memphis, TN. But, he still isn't content. Sandman has something to relevant to bring to Hip Hop, and he won't stop until the nation recognizes game.
"If you're gonna be a good artist, to me you need three things: style, flow and content," he surmises. "Most rappers nowadays don't have any, or either need to work on all three. What I lack in one, I make up with the other, but I'm striving to perfect all three."
Intent on delivering quality music, Sandman has soaked up knowledge from not only his own life experiences, but from the artists that he most admires.
"Various Memphis artists [inspired me to write] but I gotta say that Shawn Carter gave me a new outlook on the music I write and listen to," he acknowledges. "I'm trying to excel in my craft by making each project I do better than the next."
He's been featured on various albums throughout Memphis, and now, with his latest endeavor with The League, Sandman is hoping to give listeners a dose of his undeniable talent.

"I feel more comfortable discussing my life and it's ups and downs to the mic than to anyone else," he candidly relays. "I hope in the future people are more open-minded about the music they listen to instead of vibing off what others like." Bottom line: don't sleep.
