..GOD~ My utmost desire in life is to live it the way HE intended, walking in my purpose. Touching and influencing lives with the gifts he gave me. Letting my light shine from within. When the 3rd trumpet blasts, I wanna be out. Caught up in the Rapture. I gotta get into Heaven! I want my crown and my robe!MY POPS~ I was a "Love Child". During my creation, he's the one who tuned my heart to beat in sync with rhythms. As a baby, I was in the smokey Jazz, Soul, Funk, and Reggae clubs. My earliest memories are seeing "red lights" swirl around dark rooms filled with folks all bobbing their heads in unison and watching him create magic on the ivories! PRINCE~It started @ age 7! The "Prince" album altered the course of action my impressionable life would take. I was hooked then as I am now. Always dreamed of working for him and...I DID! Imagine receiving your first check administered from "Paisley Park!" Check out my 2 seconds in his "Come On" video (shot on my Birthday in DC, 9/24/98)-what a gift!RON ARCHER~ R.I.P~ My mentor, my BIG BROTHER, the man who gave me my start in this music game and taught me the real meaning of "hustle". The youngest, most well traveled music executive who lead by example and showed that honest, genuine, REAL folks could make it to the top without crapping on or making the usual "industry" back door moves on others. Someone who NEVER had an ego! Even while battling cancer, he never let us see him "sweat". He never "sweated" anything. I have yet to meet anyone in the ENTIRE INDUSTRY who was loved by EVERYONE who knew him. Artists, Executives, Interns, Musicians, WOMEN, etc., etc., world wide had and still have the utmost respect for this man. I have yet to experience someone like him. He had a "swagger" that has yet to be matched. Though I would love to believe that he left a little of it with me and "our" crew (You know who you are!) THANK YOU~ See you on the Other side!People who live passionately and to the fullest! The adventourous. The artistic. The Matrix, my fam., the New World Order, the humble, doubters, givers, teachers, my imagination!
