Rachel

I'm a 4 with a 3 wing.

About Me

I'm in grad school. Sociology. I like spending my time throwing on the pottery wheel.

My Interests

I enjoy wondering what abandoned buildings look like on the inside yet being disgusted to find out, making art and reading about the history of it, getting my a$$ kicked in tennis, playing but not losing board games, always having Ultra-Mentha Lip Shine on hand, eating chocolate as if I were shooting herion, trying to imitate cindy sherman, getting high on coffee, developing photographs in darkrooms, laughing at the work of david shrigley, almost crying from images produced by diane arbus, aspiring to be fashionable but always returning to jeans and vintage tees, drinking expensive fruit juice like POM, attending film festivals, remembering times I came home from school in the afternoon to eat lentil soup and watch the golden girls, burning hashed browns, honking the horn at protesting people or those on strike, watching improv, trying to answer jeopardy! questions faster than my mom, wondering how jerry uelsmann does it, building my ralph lauren empire, trying not to buy kitch, being amazed by labyrinths, loving man ray, owning mannequins, playing world of warcraft, trying to see too much in short periods of times at museums, smelling nag champa, the bodily functions of paul mccarthy, learning about penguins, waiting for photo booth pictures to pop out, making molds with plaster, eating cape cod potato chips, carving pumpkins but getting someone else to clean them, wishing saturday night live would have funnier skits, making vegetable tray snacks, trying new thai dishes, buying better stuff at thrift stores than people you are with, knowing more than one trivial pursuit question, saying I enjoy reading when I really only like looking at pictures, making predictions about population growth trends, sitting quietly during operas, and watching people argue over the dinner bill.
