Hello, My name is David Briggs. I play bass in a band called Broke. We just signed a recording contract in August of 2005 with Maverick/Warner Bros. We started recording our cd for them in Nov of 2005 and finished it in Jan of 2006. Keep an eye out for us cause we should be touring all over. So if you see our name come to the show and say hey. I have been playing bass and guitar pretty much my whole life. When I am not on tour I work at The House Of Guitars in Salt Lake come say hey if your in the area. I enjoy all sorts of music. My hobbies are collecting guitars and amps. I like playing soccer(played for 14 years started when I was 4), hackie sack, going camping, skiing, I like being outdoors. I love hangin with my family and friends. I love to party, so if you know where a good one is tell me, I am there. I have been playing in bands in SLC forever( Broke, Supersofar, All Souls Avenue(A.S.A), P.C.P. Berzerker, Second Hand Grace, The Jonni Lightfoot Band, The Hard Rockin Johnsons, Marmalade Hill, Headshake, Sunset Strip, Tommy Had A Vision, Janel Manoua Band, Rich Wyman). I think thats it. My heros are my brother Derek Briggs, My Band Broke, James Woods(not the actor but singer of supersofar), Bob O. Hansen, Joel Pack, John Lennon, Paul Mccartney, Nikki Sixx, Tommy Lee, Jaco Pastorius, Victor Wooten and anyone I have ever jammed with or played in a band with.
