For a long time it seemed to me that life was about to begin - real life, but there was always some obstacle in the way, something to be gotten through first, some unfinished business, time still to be served, a debt to be paid. At last it dawned on me that these obstacles were my life. This perspective has helped me to see there is no way to happiness. Happiness is the way. So treasure every moment you have and remember that time waits for no one. "happiness is a journey, not a destination".....

My Interests

I love the outdoors .... love the indoors too ;) Love skiing, computers, cooking, little league sports, love college football and basketball "GO TERPS", boating, shopping, horses, movies, walking, reading, chest oops I mean chess :)
In other word's .... Aunt CC will try (just about) anything once!

My music library consist of a variety of different styles of music....acoustic, reggae,reggaeton (I'm truely lovin Don Omar..right about now....make ya wanna run in the woods with a spear or do the booty pop thang..!!!!), new artist (my nephew...on the jazzy tip) Jonathan Johnson, Lissen (another great DC band), smooth jazz, some classical (Vladimir Horowitz), hip hop, love(Ludacris), Andre (from Outkast), Twista , R+B , Love to hear Jamie Foxx sing and play the piano ..... basically it depends on my mood, AT THAT MOMENT, but I'm an oldies girl at heart! Love the Intruders , O'Jays , Stylistics , Four Tops , Archie Bell and The Drells, The Dells, The Whispers, A little Teddy...some Barry, throw in a little Chuck Brown some P-Funk, Delfonics , Tower of Power , Mandrel , Pharoh Sanders , Angelique Kudjo , Temptations , Ohio Players "Fire" ... stuff like that! I can go on and on and on and on...etc...Nothin like some "Function at the Junction" or will we ever get tired of the Electric slide or Booty call??????????????

Movies:

Can't get enuff of the old black cinema's, but I won't turn down a good mystery,drama, action, horror, love story or something that tugs at my heart! Anything that causes me to pull out a box of tissue is alright in my book!

Television:

Ok...I must admit I'm a reality show junkie, love the cooking and and some of the talk shows, but right now my favorite TV shows are "Noah's Arc", "Cheaters" "The Wire" and "Weeds"

Books:

I love Autobiographies. (...guess I'm nosey!)but right now..at this moment, I'm reading "Dutch" by Teri Woods, the first in a trilogy. Actually ... I've been carrying this book around with me for about a month, haven't broke the seal...I work all the time...what do you expect (smile) but I plan on reading it....eventually! (really !!!)
I have a "Borders" gift card....any more great suggestions?
