About Me

Hey, I'm Sam and I like to pretend that one day my life might actually amount to something. I failed to live up to the hype of my schoolastic results and therefore now spend my days working part-time and having pipe dreams of one day doing something worth remembering.
I used to have a very genuine fear that I would be working at Tesco for the rest of my life but now I'm not sure if I even care. It's only a means of getting money to spend on the things I do enjoy. No job will ever make me happy so why moan about what I have?
I tried giving up driving, it didn't work. I now have a Astra CDX, it's the first nice car I've ever owned. It makes me happy.
Comics have always been a big thing for me but recently I find myseld using them more and more as a means of escapism. Somebody just turn me into Captain America please?!
Bit of a gaming geek too! Loving my X-Box 360 and Nitendo DS at the moment, though we did break the old N64 out today for a go on Chef's Love Shack.
For a while I was working on my own "solo project" (what a snob) but my passion to play music has all but died these days. I don't know when or if I will ever play in a band again. The fun died along with the ambition.
I love comics, music, films, xbox... pretty standard for an 19 year old white male I guess.
I played at the 2006 IOW Festival and yet there was still one moment that year that probably made me smile more and that I will always, always remember. This video says it all!
