My life has been anything but easy, I was born into an alcoholic family, with 5 sibling that all were addicts at one time or another in there lives, I started using meth by time I was 12, what nurturing I received was from my Grandmother, I my self was addicted to Meth for 34 years and have been completely clean for 6 years now, I am also a 20 year survivor of AIDS, and recently survived 4th stage terminal colo-rectal cancer, I am in remission now for 5 years..The battle I was handed in this life only made me stronger as a person, I believe we are all on a journey of discovery of the self, exploring who and what we are as a human being, sharing this little planet with other beings trying to find balance between us, of which I don't think were doing a very good job, but thats another story. Today in my life I just spend most my time engaging with all kinds of people, I love meeting and making new friends, as long as there progressive in thought and trying to find a better way of living and not being part of the problem..there is enough hate in the world we don't have to add to it, it only destroys, for me love is the only answer. I have been given another chance at life, living it drug and alcohol free for the first time ever, and I intend to live it to its fullest, I was in a relationship for 18 years with the same person, we were great friends, but unfortunately he passed from lung cancer, and since I have decided to stay alone for the purpose to get to know myself, I love art, music, especially dance music, food, traveling, good conversation,AOD (alcohol and other drugs program) NA program, I guess you could say I'm a AOD & 12 Step program person, the NA & AOD programs have shown me a way of life I had previously never knew existed, a life without drugs...I am happy, free. So if your interested in being a friend for a real friendship than just ask me, I will write you, and keep in touch with you,I believe gratitude is the key to opening a new life, being grateful for all things seen and unseen, I do a lot of outreach for anyone dealing with an addiction, cancer, aids, or just want to talk, its important to me to know you and hopefully to develop a meaningful relationship.One based on honesty and respect and the ability to be your authentic self.
