Welcome to all.

About Me

Ok, so I'm twenty six, in pretty good shape (Now) and I'm a bit crazy.First and foremost I am an actor and a filmmaker. Not quite an established one but a filmmaker none the less. I am currently working on several films as well as getting back into acting and expanding my range. I also have some other concept works, an action movie, a gangster movie, a horror and a science fiction film. I am also taking part in a competition for 'Diary Of The Dead' and require many many zombies (If they take UK submissions. if not they can kiss my ass). If you want to be in a kick ass zombie flick then message me. More to come soon.My influences are Tony Scott,Robert Rodriguez, Ridley Scott, Tarantino, Sergio Leone, Spielberg, Kurosawa, Clint Eastwood, David Fincher and Scorcese as well as (early) John Woo and several others.(Peter Jackson you are not forgotten) I am more into modern films than classics but have a deep respect for classic films and more importantly classic film making methods.I have an on/off band called El Pistoleros - we still haven't gigged yet but we're rocking in our own crazy mexican gunfighter crazy way. Once again Robert Rodriguez and his mariachi films are a giant influence here, but I think we have our own sound too.My new best sport is skydiving- its awesome and if you haven't done it...you should.I have been getting tuition from a Nevada based school run by the Flying Elvis's. Brian and Blaine, you guys rock. Also horse riding is fun but I seldom get to do it.I'm also into traditional martial arts. I study Genbukan Ryu Ninpo (www.genbukan.org) and its fantastic, simply mind blowingly good stuff. I have been a student of several other styles over the years and believe me, this is the best you can get.And I work between London and LA so you if you're in either of those places you might catch me there!

My Interests

Good music, good films, martial arts, beautiful women, good people - anything fun and anti establishment. I want to start the next british revolution.(We really need one over here) Oh and I like opossums - evil little rat dog monsters...I hate Gordon Brown.

I'd like to meet:

Obviously film makers and all you acting and music types... Anyone who likes to go against the grain, who's cool and counts themself as more than a member of their society/ government/ country/race/ whatever. Anyone fun, anyone new, anyone who doesn't take themselves too seriously.... you get the picture - I'm a friendly guy. Drop me a line and lets hook up.

Music:

Chingon. Tarantino soundtracks. Pink Floyd. The Rolling Stones. David Bowie (70's) Motown. Rage against the Machine. Beethoven and other classical composers. Rob Zombie.Iron Maiden. Jimi Hendrix. John Williams, Danny Elfman, Hans Zimmer, Harry Gregson Williams, Lots of film scores. I seriously dislike pop/boyband/stupid gangster rap (not good Hip Hop - that's cool).

Movies:

Star Wars. Sin City (us version). Desperado. Oldboy.Pan's Labyrinth. The Good the Bad and the Ugly! Batman (1/Returns/Begins). Indiana Jones. Full Metal Jacket. Recently Munich as well. Lots of Spielberg. The entire Tarantino collection inc. Kill Bills (best in one sitting) Goodfellas - what a movie. V for Vendetta - brillliant. Duel. Leon. SEVEN SAMURAI. The Last Samurai - Ken Watanabe and Hiroku Sanada and in fact the entire Japanese cast are superb. Well done Ed Zwick. The Usual suspects. Princess Mononoke. The Twighlight Samurai. Spring,Summer,Autumn,Winter and Spring. If you want to do a movie with little dialogue - watch it. Simply Stunning. Fight Club. Seven. Alien.Aliens. The Bourne Movies. MIssion Immposible 3 - Well handled Mr Abrams. I liked The Kingdom, not a lot of people got the message but I found it thought provoking as well as ass kicking. Looking forward to The Dark Knight and Indy 4

Television:

24. Lost. Standoff. Bones is fun (better since they corrected the credit sequence) and Cold Case is pretty watchable. CSI Vegas is jsut about my favorite one of the three. Obviously the Simpsons. I feel there is a great need for a new sci-fi show, maybe I'll write one... Mythbusters is cool. '.

Books:

I am Legend. Hagakure. Bushido. Frankenstein. Dracula. I'm also a graphic novel fan. Kozure Okami is just about my favorite thing ever. Blade of the imortal is good, anything by Steve Niles. I read a lot of factual stuff as research for writing. Currently American Hiroshima by David Dionisi. Fairy tales can be fun - especially the pre- disney ones.

Heroes:

My Dad (RIP) Anyone willing to stand up for what they believe in, who will truely follow their own ideals and aren't scared of anything. Exceptional ordinary people are my heroes. (Bruce Lee was rather good though...) and my dog Maximus is the maddest, baddest pooch in the world, I love him.
