I'd like to meet:

Interesting people, of course! Isn't that pretty much the reason everyone goes on here? I mean, what would I say, "no, mostly dumb people who have pretty much no awareness of what goes on around them, and cannot hold up their side of a conversation"? Who am I looking for? If I knew that, I could make life a lot easier and run a quiz on each person I met. As it stands, I am not going to say that I know enough about the other little knots of energy that fly around me to be able to say who exactly I Want To Meet. Hell, I had enough trouble filling out the "friends/relationship/random screw/dating/arch nemesis" bit. Every person I enjoy carves out their own little niche in my life, defining a new type of person. I particularly like people whose niches make meaningful harmonies. Am I looking for a person to be the kind of friend I can feel at ease with? Sure, that'd be good. How's about someone who is insane enough to give a good platform to raise my own questions on? Have a few of those, could always use more. Someone who enjoys my presence? Or is that more of a requirement I have to work on?

You get my point.

That arch-nemesis thing would be cool...

...so would a fan:

....so would a person who likes this excerpt:

"Drop your moth-eaten ass over that chair and show the visiting simian some southern hospitality!"
Roosevelt then appointed the baboon to replace Justice Blackstrap, "diseased".
I'll have to remember that one, boss," said Hopkins, breaking into loud guffaws.
So henceforth the proceedings of the court were carried on with a screeching simian shitting, and pissing and masturbating on the tableand not infrequently leaping on one of the justices and tearing him to shreads.
"He's entering a vote of dissent, of course," Roosevelt would say with an evil chuckle. The vacancies created were invariably filled with simians, so that, in the course of time, the supreme court came to consist of nin purple-assed baboons; and Roosevelt, claiming to be the only one able to interpret their decisions, thus gained control of the highest tribunal of the land.

Television:

"You people and sixty-two million other Americans are listening to me right now. Because less than three percent of you people read books. Because less than fifteen percent of you read newspapers. Because the only truth you know is what you get over this tube. Right now, there is a whole, an entire generation that never knew anything that didn't come out of this tube. This tube is the gospel, the ultimate revelation. This tube can make or break Presidents, Popes, Prime Ministers. This tube is the most awesome, god-damned force in the whole godless world...
So, you listen to me! Listen to me! Television is not the truth. Television is a god-damned amusement park. Television is a circus, a carnival, a traveling troupe of acrobats, story tellers, dancers, singers, jugglers, sideshow freaks, lion tamers and football players. We're in the boredom-killing business. So if you want the truth, go to your God, go to your gurus, go to yourselves because that's the only place you're ever gonna find any real truth. But man, you're never gonna get any truth from us. We'll tell you anything you want to hear. We lie like hell! We'll tell you that Kojack always gets the killer, and nobody ever gets cancer in Archie Bunker's house. And no matter how much trouble the hero is in, don't worry. Just look at your watch - at the end of the hour, he's gonna win. We'll tell you any shit you want to hear. We deal in illusions, man. None of it is true! But you people sit there day after day, night after night, all ages, colors, creeds - we're all you know. You're beginning to believe the illusions we're spinning here. You're beginning to think that the tube is reality and that your own lives are unreal. You do whatever the tube tells you. You dress like the tube, you eat like the tube, you raise your children like the tube. You even think like the tube.
This is mass madness. You maniacs. In God's name, you people are the real thing. We are the illusion. So turn off your television sets. Turn them off now. Turn them off right now. Turn them off and leave them off. Turn them off right in the middle of this sentence I am speaking to you now. Turn them off!"
I couldn't have said it better.
