You can call me Captain

The race is long. In the end, it is only with yourself.

About Me

Well, I think I'm a pretty good guy. I have extremely varied interests, and am pretty easy to get along with. Why don't we chat and you tell me what you think? This layout was handmade with love by the folks at My space or yours? using original artwork by Marah Johnson. Go get one!

My Interests

Acting, Stage Combat, SAFD, Henry VIII, The Renaissance Era (mostly the English one), Music, music, music, yoga, the movement of the human body fascinates me, massage, dance (even though I don't feel I do it that well), performing (whether it be acting or singing or both),photography (I almost always have a camera with me).PUPPETS!!!! There are lots of other things, but why don't you get to know for yourself?

I'd like to meet:

People who do what they love and love what they do, People who don't get furious, but certainly get concerned, People who don't sit around complaining about things they have done nothing to change, People who love to explore NYC as much as I do.Oh, and these guys...

Music:

This really depends on my mood, but some of my all-time faves: Beatles, Prince(even when he wasn't), Jack Johnson, John Mayer, Guster, Maroon5, Train, Incubus, Fuel, Sister Hazel, Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Thom Jones, James Taylor, Elvis Costello, Mozart, Ravel, Hoobastank, Sting, Van Morrison. There are many more. I have varied tastes and my mood changes from day to day. Oh, and I kinda like my stuff, too. Maybe I'll get around to putting some of it on here.

My Guitar Gently Weeps on a Ukulele

Amazing Ukulele player Jake Shimabukuro plays George Harrison's 'My Guitar Gently Weeps' on the ukulele.

Movies:

I will watch anything that has John Turturro, Steve Martin, Johnny Depp or Geoffrey Rush in it. Anything that has a lot of hype attached to it, I usually wait until it comes out on DVD to watch it. I am a big fan of Pixar movies, and Monty Python.

Television:

I try not to watch too much TV, but of the things that I have watched, I like Friends, Simpsons, South Park, the Family Guy, The Sopranos(although I have only gotten to see the first season), Arrested Development, and Tudors (despite historical inaccuracies).

Books:

This would be too long a list,so I won't even try.

Heroes:

(Professional heros:) John Turturro, Johnny Depp, Prince, Mel Brooks, Kevin Smith, Steve Martin, Geoffrey Rush, Weird Al, Gilda Radner, Fred Astaire, Gene Kelly, Ginger Rogers,Charlie Chaplin, Buster Keaton and all the people who have broken new ground or defied convention in the entertainment industry. (Personal heros:) Teachers, Parents who actually parent, Police, Firefighters, EMTs, the Dali Lama, Ghandi, And people who do those little things every day that make a brighter world.Oh! and the Sirens of Sterling!
