who am i?
nomadic shitbird, bolts rubberduck, one-man-army, hanster, daft dutch, hansinator, jewbacca, the finder, hans olo, hox, baby jesus, hands, adaptor, hans brix, robotaek? you tell me.
if i am my job; i'm a guitar and keyboard tech, stage & tour manager, for a very diverse audience; one day i'll be on tour with turisas, the next with lacuna coil, and jump on the plane to not miss my next show with anathema; only to get back just in time for samael; that kind of thing... pretty hectic all in all, but as most of my fellow nomadic shitbirds; apparently we like it best like this :)
feast or famine.
if i am my collection of things at home,.. hmmm... lots of novels and photography/art books, thought-provoking and sensual art, dvd's and cd's; i seem to have a predestined interest for the *darker & deeper* stuff... mythology, spirituality, symbolism, occult stuff, the dark half, the left hand path; novels and films about outcasts and *different people*
my music taste either gets a "turn that f$%^&* sh..$%^t off!" or "hey, i didn't know they were actually that good!"
apart from that, i'm "just hans"... 'home' means/is where one day i'll record some stuff for my probably never-to-exist own band/projects (i actually have two, haven't recorded anything worthwhile though), keep aforementioned collection, a bowl full of the finest chocolate, and some fine scottish and irish spirits, spend happy moments on the couch and keep an inflated rubberboat in the garden for when (not if) holland gets flooded.
