MARIA is known as the spinoff group put together by former ZONE bassist, Maiko Sakae in July 2005. MARIA is a very unique group, unlike many others. Maiko and Aika are the lead vocals, and both play bass. Young Reina plays keyboards, but is also known to play the electric violin, as heard in "Tsubomi." There is also 2 young aspiring guitarists, GNR's Slash look-a-like Sacchin, and punky spiked hair Ayuka. Tattsu is also known for composing the band's music, aswell as playing drums. Look out for MARIA; They are currently on their "MARIA DE NIGHT" tour in Japan, and have a setlist of over 15 songs, impressive! We expect a new single, or even an album from MARIA anytime now!
