after my old job i have stopped answering this question. when you are always around music as a job it takes a lot to make an impression. these bands are doing something truly different and in my opinion are worthwhile to listen to... neurosis, tribes of neurot, godspeed you black emperor, isis, fear factory, dimmiu borgir, SLAYER, meshuggah, the gathering, lacuna coil, anything on neurot recordings, my dying bride, mogwai, guns n roses, old metallica, rheas obsession, amorphis, samael, pantera, nailbomb, anathema, emperor, evereve, flogging molly, lunasa an irish folk band, nine inch nails, old misfits, iron maiden, lamb of god, war, tool, superdrag, sepultura, in flames any metal from europe will probally end up being a good time, sweden espically. those swedes know how to rock. and lots of other stuff, of course.
Movies:
lets take fight club, seven, a beautiful mind, the usual suspects, stripes, the boondock saints, lock stock and 2 smoking barrels, snatch, donnie darko, the italian job, 28 days later, fallen, guns n roses live in tokyo, slayer, natural born killers, lewis black, dave chapelle, carlos mencia, eddie izzard, stripes, groundhog day, the whole 9 yards, the whole 10 yards, super troopers, transformers and conspiracy theory for 1000 please...
Television:
i try to not watch any tv. also football, but that is a given with anyone from pittsburgh i think. the history channel, science channel, comedy central and anything in hdtv.
the new netflix thing with watching movies on your computer thing is pretty cool as well.
