About Me

I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4I am a musician and wrestling coach. I like to watch sports and listen to music. I am a simple man (just like Forrest Gump). I don't need a lot of material things. The presence of a friend or a lover is all I need. I can honestly say I only have a handful of friends who I would give the world to if needed. I can be a nice guy, but when needed, I can throw down. I like going out to listen to music, as well as staying home and playing my guitar with a room full of candles (for ambience). One of my favorite things to do is cook. Though I don't cook much for myself, I'll cook up a mean dinner for friends who come over.My passion is coaching wrestling. I love taking a wrestler to the next level of competition. I love being able to mold a wrestler into a top notch athlete and person. Love to mentor young athletes into respectible adults.

My Interests

I play guitar and write songs. I am a class A truck driver, so I spend a lot of time on the road, listening to CDs and watching the scenaries of life go by (on the road).

I'd like to meet:

Honestly, I'd like to meet people who are honest with themselves. I cannot stand those who think they're better than anyone else. I don't mind people who are self confident, or even cocky at some times. Just can't stand those who think they cannot improve themselves. Life's too short! Don't be afraid to ask for help when needed, and don't be afraid to lend a hand when needed.

Music:

In no particular order: Bon Jovi, Bruce Springsteen, Jewel, Melissa Etheridge, The Dixie Chicks, Patty Griffin, Jewel, Sara Evans, The Wreckers, and Carrie Underwood.

Movies:

Dogma, Chasing Amy, Mall Rats, Clerks 1 and 2; Reversal and Vision Quest (2 wrestling movies); A Few Good Men; Top Gun; The Karate Kid; Basic Instinct; Primal Fear; Rudy; Rocky; Coach Carter; The Longest Yard

Television:

Don't watch much TV, since I'm on the road a lot, but I love The Gilmore Girls (Cheesy, I know). Also like syndicated comedies, such as Friends, Everyone Loves Raymond, and Seinfeld.

Books:

Not much of a book reader, but there is a great book written by Dan Gable, who was the greatest wrestling coach in collegiate history.

Heroes:

Anyone who has the intestinal fortitude to go out on a limb and live his or her life as he or she wants is a hero. Those who go against the grain. Some of my heroes have left the cozy life to pursue happiness for themselves. You know who you are! Keep your head up and have continued success.
