Hey there,
My name is Marcelo and I live in Los Angeles, CA. I make my living as a session and touring bassist and educator. I'm originally from Brazil, but have lived in many parts of the US. I've been playing Bass pretty much all of my life and graduated from Berklee College of Music. I've won many performance awards, given clinics throughout the world and have been fortunate to have played with some incredible players along the way. My career has ultimately lead me to Los Angeles where I am trying to establish myself as a session player and get involved in studio and touring work.
I love music, computers, running, bodybuilding, soccer, meeting new people, sunny days and warm weather. I want to share my gifts and blessings with those I come in contact with. I work extremely diligently to accomplish what I feel is important. I am a perfectionist, with a seemingly endless capacity for improving upon anything that takes my interest. I know what I know, but most importantly, I know what I don't know. I believe anything is possible; everything is negotiable. I am a very determined person who trusts the vision of possibilities, regardless of what others think.
