Sounds Like: Apparently we’re supposed to sound like The Kinks because they recorded an amazing album in 1968 and we borrowed our name from said albums title track. In actuality it was never our intention to copy Ray Davies and The Kinks. While I appreciate his work enormously, any attempt to capture Ray's wittily nostalgic compositions about ye Old England would be charlatanism. However, we are heavily influenced by that genre of music as a whole and the many contemporary bands it has inspired. (See “Influences” for details)
