Hi-Gain Rock'n'Roll!!!

About Me

2003 is the year Electric 69 see the light by two old friend's, coming from theHardcore/Punk scene, will: Maurizio(former Wood Guitar and vocalist) and Stefano (OneFineDay previousDrummer and Cycle Records man). Novara and Verbania (their two areas, in the north west of ourpeninsula) got together, after years spent talking about experiences, tours and records to merge up inone super project. The passion for straight and upright Grande Rock sound, coming from late sixties, as MC5, The Who andGrand Funk Railroad, not less than the honest swedish modern sound like Hellacopters, pushes the guys tomeet Roberto Serra (former Killin'Kind's bass player) and Alessandro Rosa (guitarist), heading this wayto a good line up, moving the first steps getting a unique sound. After a while, Mauro (former Jolly Rogers great guitarist) came in to replace Alessandro and the bandstarted playing gigs in his area. The songs got new energy and writing raised to a good skill, so thatharmony between the band members and a fresh sound, guitar oriented with some Detroit bit was done. Summer of 2005 see the guys recording a full length LET'S PLAY TWO for Crise Records out of Domodossolaand recorded at the SonicHome Studio by Diego Cattaneo. Right in January 2006 Roberto has been replaced by Giorgio (Changing men's former member and currentguitarist for Thee Stolen Cars), playing bass and backing vocals. June 2007 Eddie, the "chatting bass player", joined the band right after Giorgio leaved. Then, ladiesand Gents, Don Luke is gonna record the Fender Rhodes piano on most of the song we'll put on this nextFull Lenght and, who knows, he could join the "Sixtineners" forever and live-ever! Welcome "funky fingers" Luke! Well, now the band is ready to break your ears down and conquer all the true rocker heart's comingacross his path! November 2007, E69 is haunting the SonicHomeRecordings Studio (poor our beloved Diego), carving on stone the new record that will blow you outon 2008, get your kick on Go Down Recs!
December 27th, 2007: Well this damned recording session keep going on and we're almost at the final mix, but from now on what should we say...Yep, we'd say that LOVE REDUCER, DOWNTOWN BOOGIE and DANCE ALL NIGHT are three fucking good SINGLES! Your ass will be rocked hard man! Proud to be kicked by Electric 69...easily our new song are VERY good rock'n'roll song and everyone who listened to them lately (not mixed yet stuff, of course) says we're on the right path to rule!
January 11th 2008: we eventually played live, in Milan, with the new line-up and it rocks! Luke is gonna share the stage forever with the band! Check it down here on a song filmed by the guys (thanx men!) at Cox 18!
In the meantime the works for the new CD "Electric 69" are gettin' closer to an end and we're already plannig the video shooting for our single "Love Reducer", thanx to Davide and Bepi.
15th February 2008: We got it! Yep, the New album is ready, we completed it yesterday and now, since the layout is ready as well, it's a matter of time due to printing stuff...we'll made it, starting from April, with the release party, here in our area!
