CHAZ Biography Charles Archey AKA Chaz was born may 24, 1988 in Los Angles California. Chaz Quickly gained an interest in music. As a child Chaz would always seem to pay close attention to music. At the age of nine years old Chaz wrote his first song called “Obsessed with the West”. A lot of kids were trying to Rapp back then but Chaz was different. His music stood out because of how good his delivery was. Chaz wasn’t like other kids, on his birthday his didn’t ask for video games and action figures he asked for a karaoke machine. When he got his first karaoke machine he went crazy recording song after song. This helped Chaz develop his style. At the age of thirteen Chaz developed a flawless style of rapping and thought he was ready to go to a real studio, “I remember asking my mom and dad can I go to the studio, but they didn’t feel I was ready” said Chaz. It was not until the age of fifteen that Chaz would get to go a real studio, “ I remember that day in the studio, Man, I was scared mainly because I didn’t want to mess up because we was paying by the hour”. Amazedly Chaz stepped in the studio booth and didn’t make one mistake. The studio engineer said that he had never seen someone come in do everything so smoothly. That day he had recorded “Why ya mad” and “put in work”. Chaz created a habit of going to the studio once a weak. After going to the studio for a while the engineer told Chaz he was the best rapper to ever step foot in his studio. After working on a strong demo CD Chaz started seeking for a record label during this Chaz met a very talented singer called Swav. Swav and Chaz quickly got into the studio together. Pure magic happened, they left the studio we a smash hit called “Crackin”. Early 2005 Chaz realized that he was spending way too much money in the studio. Chaz now records music at home. Chaz is still seeking to negotiate a record deal. Rapping is way more then music to Chaz it is a way of life. It is something that Chaz is very serious about. What separate him from other rappers are the things he raps about. He chooses to Rapp about real issues in life, not telling one lie in a song. “I just think that music has lost its root, we don’t have to talk about the same old thing, the same old depressing music. I’m going to keep it real on every song and tell it how it is but at the same time try to make my listeners feel good.
