STICKMAN: The brainchild of one Mark Wilkins and Steve Davies - two fine DJ's with an ear for music and the hunger for success. Formed 14 months ago, both wanted to test the water in the competitive world of club and live music promotions...Throughout 2006 Stickman and it's supporters witnessed the highs (100 Club/Eyeball Tickler/Xmas Purple Turtle/NYE at Lion) and the lows (Casbah/the last Bellyache/October at Purple Turtle).After learning from their mistakes, both have stuck together to build on the successes and also go seperate ways in their 'expert' fields:2007 will see Mr Wilkins launch his own independent night of live bands and as a DJ playing cutting edge, modern, fresh indie tracks.2007 will see Mr Davies launch a night of what he knows best - 60's beat, Northern Soul, Motown, Funk, Ska, Britpop - the funky junky is back.2007 will see Stickman holding a monthly 'indie disco' at The Golden Lion, plus many one-offs around London.Keep checking back for updates, blogs, news and event details.
