My name is Ollie Potter and everything in and around my life is based on music.
I started Dj'ing at the age of 14 and started mixing in clubs at 16 years old. Focusing on Drum & Bass and Garage, i quickly became a resident for Ruf Cut and Strictly Dope Entertainment.
After playing for the likes of Pams House and Vibe FM throughout the summer of 2002, i then advanced onto college.
I soon realised that radio would be my thing and started work for a unsigned radio station producing branding and giving the station its overall sound.
At the same time i also started to help my bro, Dj Staple, promote urban music nights in and around Gt Yarmouth, which has let me work with and meet some of the biggest names in the scene.
I have now started pushing my musical boundaries and mix anything i can get my hands on. To me, whats the point in focusing on 1 thing? I love mixing two genres together which most people would say is wrong, coz thats where you get the best reactions. Im currently creating Mash Ups each week for Pulse Rated CHECK PLAYER BELOW and creating two new mixes, from Trance and Rock to Electro Breaks and Punk, which is only furthering my knowledge of musical structures.
Each year things seem to get better and i can't wait to see what the future holds.
