About Me

..This profile was edited with Thomas' myspace editor™ V2.5

We are not original, we are the Origin.
Eureka Hot 3 blend the raw aged southern soul of late 60s, early 70s Funk, the free jazz, the old 50s rock & roll and the Rhythm & Blues but in a way close to Punk in terms of sound and attitude. Keeping away from revivalism they make an esential synthesis of the rhythm and the primal scream using an elemental instrumentation composed of drums, electric guitar and tenor saxophone.
The band was formed on February 2005 and is composed of Sergio Llanos on guitar and vocals, formerly founder of another bands as Atom Rhumba; Gotzon Garay on drums and vocals, formerly on bands as Münsterland and Bongolocos; and finally Josu Urkidi, saxophone and vocals, member of bands as Cyprinidians.
They have played gigs live with bands as The Demolition Doll Rods and the A-Frames.
On their homonimous debut work they present 6 songs, 4 own compositions and 2 versions: : The Meter’s “Funky Miracle” and Smokey Johnson’s “I Can’t Help It”. The recording is completely self produced and mixed by Capsula’s singer Martin Ladrón de Guevara.
