A lot of 70's punk, back when punk was punk and not pop/punk which has taken over almost everything. Kudos to those who don't give in. I like a lot of 80's underground music. It's just not what it used to be, I love to hear people who have a different sound that aren't part of the oh so familiar generic scene.

I don't watch so much tv, if I do, it's usually re-runs of Kids in the Hall, or really old SNL. However, my new found loves are Dexter and Weeds, thank you Showtime. (also some south park)(and scrubs) P.S. I believe everyone should watch Lil Bush on Comedy Central, it's terrific. The Sarah Silverman show was also a gem.
The Haphazard Amorist by Graham Jackson; Walking Through Mirrors by Brian Keith Jackson; Perfume: The Story of Murder by Patrick Suskind; most anything by Charles Bukowski; Scar Tissue; Down The Highway-Bob Dylan biography, From The Murks of The Sultry Abyss; White Fluffy Clouds; Animal Farm; The Secret Life of Bees.

Chuck Klosterman is an amazing writer,(formerly from Spin Magazine) and is easy to relate to on his subjects. He's just a normal guy like any of the rest of us, but is able to put what he's thinking down on paper and have it make sense in an exciting way. My latest find is, Sex, Drugs, and Cocoa Puffs. I'm trying to soak it up as much and as quickly as possible because i want to get started on one of his newer books, Killing Yourself To Live(85% of a true story).
Uh, I guess it would have to be someone that has the balls to go for their dream and not look back, not letting our twisted society get in the way. Don't exactly have a real person, guess I should start looking...
Fuck Yeah!
