Documentary film, outdoors, jazz, art, sports, politics. Anything creative is particularily inspirational. I'm fortunate enough to live in a place that is teeming with extraordinary artists and musicians. Were you aware that Norah Jones, Erykah Badu, N'dambi, Edie Brickell and New Bohemians, Lisa Loeb, The Toadies, MC 900 Ft Jesus, Dixie Chicks, Sly Stone, The DOC, Bowling For Soup, LeAnn Rimes, Rigor Mortis, Pantera, Don Henley, MeatLoaf,Michael Nesmith (both TJ boys) Hagfish,Sara Hickman (who I once played a Reggae gig with) Rev. Horton Heat, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Charlie Pride, Buck Pets, Kelly Clarkson, Earl Harvin, Roy Hargrove, Elliott Smith and literally hundreds of other incredible artists are/were all from the Dallas-Fort Worth area? We're blessed that so many talented people either grew up here or landed here at some point in their careers. As musician, all of this really keeps you on your toes - if you don't throw yourself into this completely, it's hard to keep up. I'd remind you to support Dallas music, but literally millions of other people have already beaten you to the punch. LOL...
I'd like to meet:
I'd like to meet any musician looking for new venues to play , artist mgmt. and booking, or individuals looking for the right music to book for their next big party - club owners , party planners and event coordinators should visit my website , Artriddlestalent.com to find out how to book the Southwest's Best Jazz, Blues and R&B, trios to Party bands, and also Original Acoustic Rock, and Reggae. Who Killed the Electric Car? trailer
..
It was among the fastest, most efficient production cars ever built. It ran on electricity, produced no emissions and catapulted American technology to the forefront of the automotive industry. The lucky few who drove it never wanted to give it up. So why did General Motors crush its fleet of EV1 electric vehicles in the Arizona desert?WHO KILLED THE ELECTRIC CAR? chronicles the life and mysterious death of the GM EV1, examining its cultural and economic ripple effects and how they reverberated through the halls of government and big business.WHO KILLED THE ELECTRIC CAR? is not just about the EV1. It’s about how this allegory for failure—reflected in today’s oil prices and air quality—can also be a shining symbol of society’s potential to better itself and the world around it. While there’s plenty of outrage for lost time, there’s also time for renewal as technology is reborn in WHO KILLED THE ELECTRIC CAR?

New Orleans - The Natural History
..
After Katrina, people ask why would anyone establish a city in a place that is below sea level, floods nearly every year, is as hot and humid as any tropical jungle, subject to outbreaks of deadly disease and faces annihilation as the result of a direct hit from a hurricane? More to the point, why would anyone try to save it?
When you mention New Orleans to most people, the images evoked are of a lively port city populated by a sultry mix of people from many different cultures and, of course, jazz, Mardi Gras and world class cuisine. What few people realize is that the very forces that created New Orleans now threaten its very existence. The eco-system is incredibly fragile and volatile, and if no action is taken, the city could be wiped out in the next hurricane or gradually swept into the sea from the current course of things. With the critical issues of global warming and our ongoing struggle to strike a healthy balance between a healty environment and a growing economy, New Orleans serves as a microcosm in which we can examine the critical issues facing our planet.
