357 magnum & the julio pillado experience

note:imagine this with a thick mexican accent..............Well it all began about two years ago.i started playing by my self doin'songs on the guitar,i've always liked rock and roll(real rock and roll not like the shit they play on the radio this days)rockabillie and blues.to me the fillin' that it had,that rebelious spirit has always been the heart and soul of music,how it was shocking in it's time is what made it so good and so bad at the same time,i dont think it was made out to be shocking,it just turned out that way. I think that over the years it has been watered down and comercialized with image just to sell records,i dont have a problem with the artists sellin' records,i just think that they should give credit where credit is due. i mean,some one like link wray or hasil adkins shoul have been millionares for theyr music but instead.............. Well getting back to the band: i startedplaying a few shows just for friends in some lonely bars,and i guess everybody was into it,i enjoyed playing by my self................ so time went on with the shows,the cigarretes and the wine,till the day that i met julio pillado.he plays in another band,he does short films and he likes beats,so i invited him to jam with me.i think since the first song it was clear that he understood were i was comming from,even though our tastes are not exactly the same we share the same taste for the beats. It's not conventional rock and roll and thats the way we like it.we both have various activities but we make time to keep it goin'. Personaly for me this is not just a band(even though it's just two people)this is an exagerated way of viewin' my life. Thanx to everybody that has written to us,we apreciate the comments..... and who knows,maybe some day we could meet for some drinx................
