Victor Provost...SteelPanist

About Me

I'm a musician... I enjoy many types of music from Jazz, Brazillian, Clasical, Contemporary Gospel to Soca, Calypso, Reggae, Hip Hop, and Neo Soul. I play the steel pan. Low C Lead pan to be specific. I have done this professionally since age 16 and I have been blessed to travel to many diferent countries to perform. I currently run a community arts program in Porsmouth, VA called the Urban Arts Center or UAC. Here I also instruct the Urban Arts ensemble steel drum band, teach private lessons, and perform as a solo and freelance musician. I am interested in expanding my knowledge of music theory - both classical and jazz. I'm married to the most beautiful woman (physicaly and mentally) in the universe. Please add me as a friend if you know me personally, if you enjoy my music, or if you think I will enjoy yours. Thank you for visiting my page. Please enjoy your stay!
