Promotional Video Presentation..............Been in this entertainment life it seems forever, but you know!!!! I would not
change a thing..I have played for some awesome people over the years and I hope to continue learnig and growing.... In 2006 I released my first CD, that was monumental for me a most of my own tracks I would always shelve with the notion of gettn bac to it...Sound familiar...LOL.... Now 'Stronger' finally completed and with an instrumental CD on its way soon, I am very happy, as I have finally finished a project, thanks to my dear wifey,lol....
BAck in the day playing for these guys was absolutely awesome. Aswad and Maxie Priest, Loose Ends and Micha Paris. Denis E Brown, Greggory Issacs, Freddie McGregor, Shabba Ranks and Buju..Let me see who else...Ah yesssss Super cat, Shine head...Let me tell yah, Shine head is an awesome entertainer, that man would climb to the top of the speaker stack and jump off...Not me, hell no... I luv you all, but no way...LOL... OK and Culture and my home band 'King sounds and the Israelites'..The sax came about because I had to have something to play as singers were a dime a dozen..I think it was definately ordained though, definately not by chance, and I luv playing, it for me is an awesome feeling, sort of an out of body kind of high, and I don't even smoke... Any more...lol.... There was a band called 'The Royal Rasses' with prince lincon thompson at the helm..I luved the way that man sung, with such control and grace. That was my very first tour to europe...I soon started playing for a lot of the artists I use to jam to, like, John '100 volts' Holt. the great legenary Alton Ellis, Sugar Minot and Judy Mowat and a few more to..Whilst in Zimbabwe with Aswad I Jammed for a few minutes with Harry Bellafonte, What an icon he is in the business, Also I had the pleasure of jamming with Bruce Hornsby and with loose ends I met the God father of soul 'James Brown' and his then late wife at Wembly Stadium, London England..I tell yah this business has been great to me...
But after a while when all the people you've worked with become a blur and you have to be reminded about who you've played for, some would say that's old age setting in, you know, lol. But dats cool, I am still a young man, OK...Youngish man, LOL.... One starts thinking wow, did I really do all that..LOL. It didn't feel like much then, but now as I take the time to look back...WOW, what an awesome ride.....SMile
Anyway I just wanted to let you guyz get an idea about the man, Jah-D...
