All Rights Reserved]))) ...ABOUT RON DAVIDSON: Singer, Songwriter (well over 200 good ones to credit), Guitarist, Bassist, Sound Engineer, DJ & Producer. ///..."I don't believe in placing limits on music & creativity. You gotta push the envelope and be original! Why would you wanna sound like someone else?"... /// Born in Detroit in 1970 & raised in Michigan, Ron began playing guitar seriously at age 12. Ron performed with many bands in the Grand Rapids Michigan area including, but not limited to, Irrational Passion (on guitar & lead vocal), The Wolfbruthas (on bass & co-lead vocal), Alien Grapefruit Experiment (on acoustic 6 & 12 string guitar & lead vocal), Big Cheese (on guitar & co-lead vocal), John Elchroth Project (on bass & lead vocal) and 3+ years prowling West Michigan with Thunder Bay (on guitar & lead vocal). .....Ron's Bob Seger, Ted Nugent & Motown influence is clear..... ...Ron moved to Kansas City in 2001 and immersed himself in the Blues and Jazz spirit. Finding a niche in the local Acoustic scene after meeting his "Jedi Master" Doc Fuller, Ron began hosting Open Mic Nights and playing out as a solo acoustic guitar Singer-Songwriter..... Ron also continued involving himself in band projects with The Fall Project (on fretless bass), Steve Boyd and Doc Fuller in Occasionally Blue (on fretless bass), Lara Ryan & the Brickhouse Blues Band (on bass), Blues Underground (on bass), and in a sadly short-lived rock project called BadMan (on guitar & vocal)..... Ron's currently writing and exploring as always, playing bass & lead vocal in hard rock project The Fuzzy Slippers Of The Apocalypse, and available as a "gun for hire" in the local Kansas City music scene until the right thing comes along. *****...ALSO VISIT http://WWW.MYSPACE.COM/RONSTERDEMONSTER for more of your friendly neighborhood Monster!*****
