The Scott Moyer Band

About Me

Scott Moyer has been playing guitar, singing and writing songs in Kansas City, Missouri for twenty plus years. In the early 90's, Scott was a member of one of the hottest and longest running bands in Kansas City, Ticklestick. Their run lasted nearly thirteen years!! Scott (on guitars), with Ed Munkers (bass), Craig Raphael (drums), and Bobby Westrick (vocals) carved out a niche in this town that is still talked about to this day! After the eventual demise of Ticklestick, Dirtyface was born! Dirtyface was Ticklestick, minus one. Same core members, but different vocals. Scott and band went totally one hundred and eighty degrees and became one of the edgiest blues/rock bands in town. Scott began to not only play guitar, but come to the forefront and become the bands vocalist. These days, The Scott Moyer Band has quickly emerged as one of the top blues/rock acts in Kansas City. With fellow members, Kenny Hines on drums, and longtime bandmate, Ed Munkers on the bass, the band just recently made it to the finals of the Kansas City Blues Challenge. But wait, they're not a blues band?!? Not since Robin Trower or Cream has a band been able to bridge the gap between the blues, and classic guitar rock!! A definite MUST SEE!Voodoo Chile (Slight Return)
