I am, DJ Ashen. I am a filmmaker. I am a DJ. I am a Musician and I am a Music Industry Professional.

From no/low budget music videos to multi-million dollar feature films I always capture my vision; no matter how strange, dark or twisted it can sometimes be. I prefer to work with horror, thrillers, action and/or dark subject matter. Films like The Last House on The Left, Angel Heart and The Thing affected my cinematic vision for the rest of my life. Today I split my time between Orange County, Austin and the road. I currently shoot out of Austin, Los Angeles, San Diego and Seattle. I enjoy shooting music videos because of how quickly I can make them come alive but it's the feature or extended short that truly allows me to share my stories.
So that is my life, life lived at 24 frames per second. A quest to create films with a vision and a message. Even if that message isn't always one you want to hear OR see. Keep it scary.
