Pigmoney: where the world is fun. Imagine you just received the thing you wanted most in life. Yeah, that kind of fun. People have often compared Pigmoney to 30 Seconds to Mars and Rage Against the Machine, bands with a lot of passion. Joe's crafty guitar work gives the band a recognizable sound. As he says, "Let's go back to the basics, I like what sounds good." Parks’ bass lines are deep, and Jordan's drums are ginormous. From the dance/rock beat of "I Want More" and the catchy hook of "Just A Song", to the many melodies of "Slave To Nothing" and the hard rock edge of "Talent", Pigmoney's sound is distinct and is appreciated by all manner of rock and pop fans.
The lyrics, written by brothers Chance and Joe, stem from their life experiences of authoritative oppression, substance abuse, and the tragic death of their father at a young age. The topics of their songs range from the confines of corporations and society’s willingness to accept a life of complacency (Talent), to the resistance of religion and the pressure to believe in a higher power (Slave To Nothing). Pigmoney’s lyrics are both meaningful and thought provoking. Even crowd-pleasing songs such as Touch My Body throw significant lyrics into the midst of a humorous chorus.
Furthermore, their live show is where you need to be if you want to party. The stage is filled with panels of color-changing lights. Each of their light panels are in sync with the music, adding to the intensity of the songs. When you see Pigmoney play you can't help but rock out.
For obvious reasons, their fan base continues to grow exponentially every day.
