I like to rap. My name is Jim Raygun (pronounced reagan). Its my real name,just spelt differently to give props to my sister Ray (R.I.P). I rep the West of the Smoke.I also produce, engineer, toured Bahrain as a DJ and generally fuck with music, end of story. I make REAL music with REAL people for REAL people.
BACKGROUND:Wrote my first rhyme @ 15 (big up Noway). 4 years in Ayia Napa rhyming with everyone who's anyone on the garage scene. A label deal followed, which was a learning curve. I was featured on a 12'' single release (Toast To Fate/Optimist) last year in connection with Banana Klan artist Jimmy Screech and in-house producer Crooked Mann. Smashed up the Brighton leg of Roots Manuva's tour performing the above track. Appeared on the Spitz of Renwick posse cut 'Being Made' alongside Ahmos,G double,Joker Starr,Genesis Elijah @ D (its on the player above,check it out). I have also appeared on line-ups alongside the likes of Root Manuva, Plan B, Chain of Command, Mystro, Rhyme Asylum, Sonny Jim & Kosyne, TLG, the I.R.S (fukin top group) and many more...
CURRENT PROJECTS: I will be adding a mixtape esque thingy fairly soon for free download. However my main project at the moment is an E.P with Birminghams Deadline. With the assistance of shitloads of beer and debaucherous banter, we realised that the material that came out of writing sessions was kinda good and decided on a full project. Weighin in behind the boards are Marco Polo,Complex,Naive,Mr Dick & Percy Filth. Assisting with mic duties are Sonny Jim, Ralph Rip Shit (best fuukin MC goin) and others to confirm.
