DAYSIS is a British lyricist, songwriter and shadow producer. His abstract and conceptual rhymes, complex flow patterns and relatively thorough understanding of eclectic music, often manifest as deeper levels of musical consciousness and thus his perpetual improvement as an artist. At the age of 15 he recorded and produced his first solo EP entitled "I'm Gonna Make It", which details the latent but often sensed manipulation of the working class by the insecure people of the bracket above it. The EP features a track of the same name, which describes the events that helped to shape his second consciousness in the desire to break free from social judgement. Although the EP was never made available on general release, it was met with much airplay, in turn reaching a live audience at Ear to the Grounds "Depercussion" that year.
After leaving school he formed BLUETAPE, a Hip Hop collective with fellow beatmakers/MCs 1lastorder, Silent D, Solace, James Bass and Roca. Unfortunately no music by BLUETAPE was ever released, but the members still work together ocassionaly on different projects.
In 2006, he formed Atrial Phoniks with Solace and DJ Omas of the 'At Large' collective. The crew is now making new ground in recording sounds and experimenting with different approaches to performing while official releases remain anticipated.
DAYSIS is also currently working with DJ Omas, Solace & Qniun Mankub, Herrotics, Bill Zoot, Kaspa Troy, 1lastorder & MC Skeez, Truth and The Natural Curriculum.
