Greg (Yes that Greg)

I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I'm edible, machine washable, resilient, fast acting, easy to use and easy to store. Being your nighttime, sniffling, sneezing, coughing, aching, stuffy head, fever so you can rest and have a good morning medicine.

I've always been a chameleon. I was that guy in high school that everyone knew, but no one called. My life is not a sob story. I have no testimony. I'll always be willing to tell you what I think when you ask for it, and sometimes when you don't. If I self proclaim anything it's because someone else told me so. In that case, I'm great in bed and on the couch. Those are the best places to dream...silly.

I can be shy at first or super crazy, it depends on the weather (or something)...sometimes we just have to get past those opening lines...that initial "I've got to look good to this person" shyness that brings me here I suppose.

I acknowledge that we as human beings are afraid of each other so much, that we are prone to compromise our very own reality to look good for someone else. I consider all opportunities and options as possible progressions to the next moment in life. Choosing freely and openly my path, determining my present by what my future holds and not what my past dictates me to do.

I have a tendency to be passionate about conversations I take on and projects I set out to accomplish. I love to connect with people and really hear them; however I love to expend great energy in standing on a soap box about things that I know have no meaning, or only meaning to me.

While I have and continue to research many, I affiliate with no specific religion. I continue to respect and take interest in the mass appeal of anything. Despite all of this I have much faith. Every time I get into my car, my faith increases. I have faith in others and myself. My faith in others is determined by my willingness to allow them to be who they are. My faith in myself is determined by my ability to constantly be present in my interactions with others. I do believe in God, but I understand that my belief in God is simply my explanation for most things greater than I, that my brain cannot comprehend. If I were to make an icon out of God, as to facilitate a religion, I would define God to be the encompassment of everything and nothing all at once. Without you (the reader) God cannot exist. God to me…is you and I will love accordingly.

If you have read to this point I greatly appreciate your interest (or boredom). You can msg me any time on AIM @ Gergyman. Have a joy joy day!

My Interests

My interests are ever expanding. Currently I’m leading an amazing group of people through the trials of a startup media/production company. You should check it out and give me some feedback (www.letsfilm.tv). My time is mostly spent motivating people into action, creating possibilities where none existed before and…eating. I love to cook and I love to eat. If I were asked right now what my favorite food is I would say, Indian, however the selection fluctuates. I love cheese and trying new foods. I like to stay active every chance I get to maintain the metabolism to keep the eating habit. I love to laugh…ha ha ha ha… and people who can appreciate the movie that came from.

I'd like to meet:

Well, I don't like to narrow things down too much here. I can be everything you want, or nothing you want to do with. Who you are is not so much what I'm here for, it's who I can be around you. That leaves it open to friendships, romantics, stalking or more. I enjoy everything at least once, sometimes not while I'm doing it.

I'm a tall guy...no really...I'm tall. That doesn't have me discriminate on the type of girl I'm looking for. I don't like to limit the range of possibility. I like humor in all capacities. A must is to be able to talk deep. I can always handle a conversation about "Brangelina", so long as you can handle conversations about existence, thought, dreams, "truth" and reality.

Be yourself...I know it's a difficult thing to do at first, but it is the most attractive thing to me. I know at times I hide myself as well. Eventually though, we all get our chance. If you are ever stalking my page and want to get some tea, I'm always down for a good chat.

I'm a dreamer. I like clouds, stars, sunsets and pictures of them all.

Travelling
Space, the final frontier. These are the voyages of the starship um...Greg. Its continuing mission: to explore strange new worlds, to seek out new life and new civilizations, to boldly go where no one has gone before. Doo, Doo Doo Doo, Doo Doo Doo, Doo Doo Doo Doo Doo Doo, Doo, Doo Doo Doo Doo...

Music:

My CD collection is created by my close friends (thank you Carmin). I listen to the radio for randomness. I've gone through my phases of rap, rock, classical, opera, electronica and everything in between. I like talk radio and will hang out in my car at night to listen to Coast to Coast. I can dig talk radio and frequently catch specialty shows on KPFK, KCRW, KCSB and KCLU. I've been known to listen to the Wave, but I blame that on my parents. It worked wonders to put me to sleep, now it's just nostalgia. Hey, isn't music supposed to provoke emotion?

Movies:

"There you are, your own number on your very own door. And behind that door, your very own office! Welcome to the team, DZ-015" I dig movies as an amazing artistic expression. I enjoy any movies that have a proper plot and character creation with little care as to what the movie is about. My "book by it's cover" choices include action and drama genres and I'm into Tom Clancy type "bore-a-thons".

Television:

I own a tv, but no service. I actually enjoy my collection of older shows that I watched while growing up. From 3-2-1 Contact to The Adventures of Superman there is little that I don't have or cannot get. Newer shows are great when one has the time, even if they are cheesy.

Books:

I would have to say that lately I have been lacking on the written literature. I'm very much into researching online, especially as of late. I own many e-books but they are more tutorials than anything else. I do enjoy Dale Carnegie and such books like that. The last book I read was "Made to Stick". I recommend it for anyone who is trying to get their point across without getting frustrated about feeling misunderstood.

Heroes:

"If you were me, then I'd be you...and I don't want to be you" I could go on and on about how living through someone elses dream takes away the responsibility you have for your own ideas and ways of being, but I won't...or did I just? I will say that my biggest influences of course are my parents. My brothers are amazing people as well. I feel, additionally, that everyone I've met in my life, whether they have been pleasant or not, has influenced me in a way that contributes to who I am today. For that, I thank you.
