SO PHAT! are Nils Ruzicka and Stavros Ioannou .
Nils Ruzicka was discovered in 1994 by his mentor Ramon Zenker (Bellini, Hardfloor, Fragma, Interactive, etc.) and has ever since been producing several music acts. He started out producing Techno and Trance acts like Megalo Mania, PlugnPlay, Revil O., among others. Furthermore he remixed a lot of well known Dance projects like Bellini, Mr. President, Dune, Interactive, etc.. In 1997 he received gold and platinum awards for his remixes of Bellini's "Samba De Janeiro".
Stavros Ioannou has been working at Peppermint Park Studios for 16 years as a studio guitarist and songwriter. He met Nils during a recording session in 1998 and started working with him on original material.
Working together now as SoPhat!, they have a great varied output of remix works and productions on Peppermint Jam Records and its addtional vinyl imprint ProgCity. Their aim is to find a new sound identity in every production to keep it exciting and never the same again. The songs has established on both, dancefloors around the globe and the hi-fi systems at home. They achieved numerous club plays by nearly all big DJs from the scene including Tomcraft, Moguai, Phil Fuldner, Mousse T., Syke'n'Sugarstarr, David Guetta, Antoine Clamaran, Ian Pooley, Sharam Jey, Chrissi D and many more.
In the cooperation with Mousse T they entered the uk-top10 in 2005 with their production of Inaya Day's "Nasty Girl".
SO PHAT! have worked on remixes including Simple Minds, Warren G, Missy Elliot, Mousse T., Tom Jones, Zucchero, Bootsy Collins, Damien Strong, Paul C, Bionik Phunk, Zehava Ben, Rosenstolz among many others. They did production work for artists like Roachford, Mousse T, James Kakande, Emma Lanford and Colin Rich and have released three 12" singles yet.
