Universal, BMG and Warner, Mangione has been working with the majors for years. "Mondo Brothers" ishis own publishing entity that he founded with his partner Universal Music Publishing in 1999.
As a producer, Mangione is known for his ability to coach artists to fully realizing theirpotential. He has an uncanny knack for quickly spotting the essential qualities in an artist and tofocus their work together on fully exploring these strengths in the creation of singularlyexpressive and personal productions.
Claudio's life in music started early with a classical education on guitar and bass, that wouldprove to be a solid foundation for his future musical endeavours as Composer & Producer. He startsworking as a DJ in his teens, honing his skills with every gig he can get his hands on, obsessivelyworking 6 nights a week. In 1990 he records his first single: "Joystick - My Girl" right away makesit to No.1 in the SWF3 radio charts and puts him on the scene in the bigger clubs.
In 1993 Mangione produces a breakthrough with "I.Q. - Psycho". The track reaches chart positionspreviously unknown for Trance (Top 30 Media Control Charts / Top 30 Benelux Charts / Nr.1 DanceCharts Benelux) and quickly brings sought after local DJ gigs in the most important clubs in europe. The follow up track "Indoor - Last Night A DJ Saved My Life" again rocks theofficial French Charts and the German dance charts.
Then, in the summer of '96, Mangione creates a Mega-Hit: "Zhi Vago - Celebrate The Love" which sellsover 1,000,000 copies around the planet. On the wings of this success, he follows with Dreamer, again ahuge international success with over 450,000 units sold.
The commercial and musical success of these tracks makes Mangione into a sought after DJ on theEuropean circuit in Rome, Athens, Ibiza and Berlin. He starts to travel extensively, furtherdeveloping his personal style. He is also well received by commercial brand builders, spinning &organizing for Puma and becomes a contractual partner in Volkswagen Autostadt GmbH with the MTVevent series Mondo Club.
Together with his brother 'Svan Taurus', Claudio went on to form Mondo Studios in 1997. Thecollaboration between Mangione, the musician and DJ, and Taurus, the technical sound wizard provedideal. They quickly made a name for themselves as the people to see about musically creative andtechnically perfect productions regardless of the genre.
Spring 2005 sees the long awaited release of Mangione's first single under his own name: "ClaudioMangione - Mondo Grande" (Superstar Recordings) with special guest on vocals: Karima. A unique andexciting blend of Tango/R&B and Electro, (Media Control Charts 90/18 weeks top 10 in the MTVDancefloorcharts), the track becomes a Club Standard in Europe; the video rotates high on VIVA & MTV.
