About Me

We are making BIG Plans! COME BE PART OF THE MOVEMENT TO MAKE NEEDED CHANGES IN OKLAHOMA.
If you can't make the planning meetings you can still be involved by joining our group at: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/okspirit
And we are also at: http://www.myspace.com/oklaspirit
We Oklahoma Indians are making plans to push issues forward from 2008 and beyond. We have many many challenges as Indian people, let’s not forget we are all in this together, and even one person can make a difference. We have set up this group on yahoo for anyone who wants to stay in the loop on these activities:

Between working every day and grandchildren, I attempt to stay involved in politics and American Indian issues, anything to uphold our rights to tribal sovereignty.
Am a person that enjoys life and loves to have fun. A woman that enjoys watching sports, especially football and basketball.
Tend to be a loner but am very happy alone.....and a Liberal too. Does that make me bad? LOL!!!

My Interests

Life is too short to wake up with regrets. So love the people who treat you right Forget about the ones who don't. Believe everything happens for a reason. If you get a chance, take it. If it changes your life, let it. Nobody said life would be easy, they just promised it would most likely be worth it.

This Native American folk song speaks of holding all creation sacred. It is written and sung by Ben Yahola, my cousin, in our native Mvskoke language. In English the song literally says: Staffs (flags, or the symbols of who we are) are to be held sacred. The earth is to be held sacred. Everything that was created, Our Ancestors, Warriors, and the Earth are sacred. From the CD: Sacred Sites Songs
