See "The King of Kong" It's coming soon (Jan. 29) on video but won't be nominated as "Best Documentary" at the upcoming Oscars. Caught me totally by surprise when I saw a screening of it, I rarely see movies twice in a theater anymore, but this was an exception. "Superbad" "Knocked Up" and "Hot Fuzz" were very funny. "Eastern Promises" was really, really good, but not great. "Juno, No Country For Old Men & The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford are all faves for the year so far. Bruce Willis makes my skin crawl.
This past season of "The Wire" kicked my ass, can hardly wait for the final season. "My Name is Earl" had some laugh out loud moments this year and "The Office" has continually surprised. This summer is all about Bourdain, Padma and Ramsey, but especially Padma.
