Don't Ever Let Anyone Monkey With Your Swing

About Me

Like my headline says, "Don't ever let anyone monkey with your swing." Ted Williams said it and he knew a little bit about hitting so I decided to apply it to my life many years ago. All you can be is yourself and people will either like you or hate you. If they like you, great, if they don't, oh well, their loss. I am lucky to have a job I love in a town I love. Always looking to make new friends so that is how I found my way here. Be sure to check out my website www.regscoffeehouse.com to see what the show is all about and learn more about me.

My Interests

Music, Sports (especially Football, Soccer and Baseball), Red Wine, Cooking (and Eating) Good Food, Entourage and Six Feet Under, The Family Guy and The Simpsons, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Chicago White Sox, Atlanta Braves, Auburn Tigers, San Diego Chargers, The Italian And U.S. National Soccer Teams,

I'd like to meet:

Friends and Chat Buddies. Since MySpace IM seems to be broken all the time, feel free to IM me at AIM. My screen name is regcoffeehouse .

Music:

Music is my passion so it is hard for me to tell you my favorites. I guess my all time favorites include, The Clash, Bob Marley, The Beatles, The Replacements, Tom Petty And The Heartbreakers... My current favorites include My Morning Jacket, The Decemberists, World Leader Pretend, Rachael Yamagata, Rilo Kiley, Gov't Mule, The Mars Volta, Jurassic 5...I host a radio show called Reg's Coffee House on WRAX so you can check out my website to see what I am into - www.regscoffeehouse.com or www.wrax.com .

Movies:

Not a huge movie buff but I do enjoy anything that entertains me. Don't get a chance to see many movies these days but I try to get out to them when I can. Loved Garden State, Sideways and Team America. Recently saw the new Star Wars flick, Kicking And Screaming (can't get enough of Will Farrell) and the new version of The Longest Yard (not near as good as the classic original but I did find it entertaining and Chris Rock stole the show). Gonna try to see Batman and a couple of other ones soon. My all time favorite is probably The Godfather or Silence Of The Lambs and I am a sucker for a good John Hughes film as well. Good documentaries intrigue mel. Most recently I watched and enjoyed Gunner Palace (about the troops in Irag) and Dig (a rock n roll documentary about two bands).

Television:

Entourage, Six Feet Under, The Sopranos, The Family Guy, The Simpsons, Late Night With Conan O'Brien, ESPN Sportscenter, The Chappelle Show, Aqua Teen Hunger Force

Books:

My all time favorites are The Scarlet Letter and anything by Edgar Allan Poe. Most recently I read an intersting book about Buddhism.

Heroes:

My Grandfather, Robert Nesta Marley, John Lennon, Joe Strummer, Vincent "Bo" Jackson, Chet Lemon
