About Me

"The details of my life are quite inconsequential. Very well, where do I begin? My father was a relentlessly self-improving boulangerie owner from Belgium with low grade narcolepsy and a penchant for buggery. My mother was a fifteen year old French prostitute named Chloe with webbed feet. My father would womanize, he would drink, he would make outrageous claims like he invented the question mark. Some times he would accuse chestnuts of being lazy, the sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament. My childhood was typical, summers in Rangoon, luge lessons. In the spring we'd make meat helmets. When I was insolent I was placed in a burlap bag and beaten with reeds, pretty standard really. At the age of 12 I received my first scribe. At the age of fourteen, a Zoroastrian named Vilma ritualistically shaved my testicles. There really is nothing like a shorn scrotum, it's breathtaking, I suggest you try it." Everyone needs a dance party.I drink, I smoke, I dream, I write, I live for music and love. I'm a disillusioned revolutionary not sure where to revolt. I'm a sad poet happy for the rain. I'm a passionate advocate for those misplaced. I want to learn guitar, dance all the time, and shake the world with one good idea. I am twenty-something and quite a sensitive guy, especially when tickled or poked in the belly. Completely addicted to Connect-Four and Ms Pac-Man. Psuedo-poet in word alone. Real poet at heart. I'm more excited about the company than the activity. I love my grandmother very much but I don't call her nearly enough. I read lots but its mostly nonfiction because I'm always so damn curious. Never travelled much, because I've always reasoned it's still me whereever I go. If I was to be another animal, I'd be some sort of small woodland critter, like a bear. If I was a body of water, I'd be Lake Michigan. If I was a historical figure, I'd like to stay me. My humblest star-struck dream still floats in my head: Having a quiet beer or smoke with Jeff Tweedy. Couldn't care less about the lives of Hollywood celebs, but I'll listen to it if that's what troubles you. Don't have a cat. Don't have a dog. I love animals still, though. I moved to the city from south suburbs some time ago to ensure I could experience the expanse of lake and tower daily. or nightly. or weekly. And then, I moved back again. Chicago will always be my home. White Sox love is found right here. I want to be a breeze, but my sails all caught up. People who know me like me for being "a laid back guy." My best friend says I'm "One intense dude." Best possible evening includes wine and stars or a cheesy rental, and a girl by my side is nice, too. I'm a social butterfly. I'm a smooth operater. On this, I'm a complete liar. I'm still seeking for what passions are right for me. I worship the moon and go where ever she leads. I figure the people I know are the greatest commodity.
