Who asserts herself the right to reorder the world.Imagine a women who has grown in knowledge and love of herself. A women who has vowed faithfulness to her own life and capacities. Who remains loyal to herself. Regardless.I'm not like every other kid, you know, who dreams about being an astronaut, I was always more interested in what bark was made out of on a tree. Richard Gere's a real hero of mine. Sting. Sting would be another person who's a hero. The music he's created over the years, I don't really listen to it, but the fact that he's making it, I respect that. I care desperately about what I do. Do I know what product I'm selling? No. Do I know what I'm doing today? No. But I'm here, and I'm gonna give it my best shot.On a more serious note, KNOW that life is precious, that it can suddenly be taken away. Open your eyes, open your heart and look at this world in all of its wonder. Look, really look at a flower, look really look into a child’s eyes, look, really look at the ocean’s waves and the sky’s clouds. Breathe and smile that you can, walk and slowly flex each leg then toe and smile that you can, dance naked in the sun and laugh that you can. Phone someone and show you care and seek out those that need help and see the tear in their eyes at your kindness, a kindness that they may not have seen before. Be you, find out who you is, strip away the pretence, the false personas, don’t want to be someone else, don’t want to be successful or admired, just be you and the feeling of contentment will bathe over you. Take every negative thought that comes your way and stamp on it before it sows seeds and weeds obscure your view. If you let them grow they will take you over. Have courage and faith in good and inspire others to. There is a song, with some lyrics that are close to my soul and one line is.."and this world will be shaken by a whisper"Don’t ever feel you are too small to make a difference…K ...if there was a better way to go it would find me... "All my limitations are self-imposed, and my liberation can only come from true self-love."-Max RobinsonSPREAD YOUR WINGS You have gone on your journey and returned enriched and ennobled. You have within you that which you went in quest of. You know now the fullness of your humanity, its frailty, its mortality, its quirks, its limitations. Moreover, the mystery of a greater presence is stirring within. Give yourself over to that which cannot ever be fully known. Let life take you. You are like a young fledging on the edge of the nest, waiting for its wings to dry before venturig forth. Do not be impatient. All is proceeding as it should. Fear nothing. Wait for a warm updraft and then spread your wings. You have been on the road so long, so very long. Your journey has become a dreary, grinding routine. You are swamped with the feeling that the years of your life will follow one another until one day you'll simply collapse at the roadside. Desperate for a vision that will bring new meaning and purpose, you sit, half-asleep, under a tree, waiting for you know now what. Your mind drifts back to hills you have climbed, vistas you viewed from cliff tops, moments of meeting with others along the way. You awaken to a sense of how far you have come and how much you have changed. A renewed strength stirs in your limbs. You are filled with a deep sense of worth. You continue on your way with a bounce in your step and joy in your heart. The Light of Awareness is Born in Darkness"If you get rid of the pain before you have answered its questions, you get rid of the self along with it."I learned that it's OKAY to

Your last mortal thought will be, "why did i take so many days - just like today- for granted" life is so good, when you've been given a second chance.

"Teachers appear when you least expect them. And that’s exactly why they can be so powerful." "The heart is like a garden. It can grow compassion, fear, resentment or love. What seeds will you plant there?"" We gain strength and courage, and confidence by each experience in which we really stop to look fear in the face...we must do that which we think we cannot." -Ralph Waldo Emerson

Music:

I think people who can truly live a life in music are telling the world, 'You can have my love, you can have my smiles. Forget the bad parts, you don't need them. Just take the music, the goodness, because it's the very best, and it's the part I give'" -George HarrisonMusic is always happening in my life- in my car, in my house, in my head. I love music! Music=my life. I love to sing, I've been apart of many bands/choirs. I was accepted into UNR as a voice major, but am currently at UVSC. I've been playing the drums for 3 years now. I have a Ludwig set and I enjoy a good jam session. Let's see...i can bust out some chords on the guitar and I know a couple songs, but I honestly don't play, I wish I did. I wish I could play every instrument ever made. I'm very interested in learning choral and instrumental conducting as I have always wondered what it would be like to understand and feel each instrument from a different perspective. As of now I'm a solo independent artist who simply has a passion for music. My main goal as a musician is not to become some famous music icon or popular rockstar, rather I hope to reach and touch the lives of people in a positive way through my music...which I soon hope to be recording. Hopefully in the future you will find my music entertaining, but I really wish for it to be more than just that. People are starving for something or someone to touch their heart and captivate their emotion... I hope that I can do this for others through my music some day.I enjoy ALL music, all different types of genres. I'm a big fan of rock music, I'm also a big fan of classical and jazz. A few of my all time favorite musicians are Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, Nirvana, Incubus, Phish, Sublime, Smashing Pumpkins, Boots To The Moon, Daniel Johnston, Shimshai and the Natural MystiquEnsemble, Sufjan Stevens, 311, ALO, ACDC, Pink Floyd, Guns N Roses, Bright Eyes, RHCP, Trey Anastasio, Blondie, John Lennon, The Doors, The Rolling Stones, The Eagles, Jack Johnson, Ben Harper, Slightly Stoopid, Pepper, The Expendables, Imogean Heap, Jimi Hendrix, Audioslave, Donovan, Simon and Garfunkel, Greenday, Black Crowes, Muse, Tenacious D, Death Cab for Cutie, Bloc Party, Damien & Bob Marley, Cosy Sheridan, Cold Play, Jefferson Starship, Tom Petty, Rod Stewert, Joni Mitchell, The Eagles, Eric Clapton...this list is really endless. The classical side of me enjoys works mostly done by Chopin, Schubert, Schumann, Motzart, Beethoven, Puccini. I think one of the biggest things about music and making it sound good, is finding the energy put off by the instruments around you, then knowing your part but give it the energy it requires. The Most Alive Moment The most living moment comes when those who love each other meet each other's eyes and in what flows between them then. To see your face in a crowd of others, or alone on a frightening street, I weep for that. Our tears improve the earth. The time you scolded me, your gratitude, your laughing, always your qualities increase the soul. Seeing you is a wine that does not muddle or numb. We sit inside the cypress shadow where amazement and clear thought twine their slow growth into us. - RUMI

Books:

words suck . Words aren't as important as the energy derived from music, especially live. Reading is awesome though...books! I don't know if I ever told you this, but books are the greatest gift one person can give another. My life is a book, and I'm writing one beautiful chapter at a time...

Heroes:

The team that has saved my life-Nicole Hawkins, Hayley Giles, Hezz, Becky Mann, Michael Berrett, Espra Andrus, Greg Ellis, Jen Adams, LeAnne Tolley, Lynette Taylor, Amy Harman, Julie Clark, Kim Crossley, Wendy Hoyt, and Duani.people that practice unconditional LOVEMy heroes are the ones who survived doing it wrong, who made mistakes, but recovered from them. Empowered women who grab life by the balls! I'm kind of hooked to the game of art and literature; my heroes are artists, writers, & musicians. Especially my family, anyone who has recovered from a sickness, disease, addiction. RUMI...
And in the end, the love we take will be equal to the love we make.all you need is loveThe lotus flower grows and blooms in a muddy pond, and yet remains pristine and free from any defilement, symbolizing the emergence of Buddhahood from within the life of an ordinary person.*-*-*-*-*-* Led Zeppelin for life *-*-*-*-*-*-There is beauty, there is wonder in so much I see and it has given me hope and strength through hard times and fills my soul with feelings too deep to express easily.-K..................................all in all is all we all are............................. What is that force that gives life to the body? Feel it. Feeling that, that's the goal of practice. Be propelled from the force of life within. Feel everything, feel the pains - allow them to guide you. Soften, quiet the mind, the inner power is discovered again. Soften the belly where it connects with the breath. Accept. Accept the universe until gratitude flows like the rain. Gratitude, the natural condition when all the obstructions have withered away cooked by the fire of your attention. Namaste.Peace consists of pure thoughts, pure feelings and pure wishes. When the energy of thought, word and action is balanced and stable, the individual is at peace with the self, in relationships and the world. To excerise the power of peace look inward in order to look outward with courage, purpose and meaning. For no reason, say yes, get drunk, spend all your cash, fall in love, get to know someone random, be random, flirt, say I love you, have sleepovers, sing, dance, laugh at dumb jokes, cry, apologize, kiss, tell someone how much they mean to you, make someone know what they're missing, laugh until your stomach hurts, live in this moment, and have no regrets.
