| View Show | Create Your OwnI love to play with my boys. I enjoy having theological discussions about life, God, love, and world politics with my husband. I enjoy exploring God's amazing creation. I like walking, hiking, cooking, reading a good book, and spending quality time with my family and friends. Other cultures intrigue me and I try to learn as much as I can about them, including their food. A favorite of mine is trying out different cultural foods/restaurants. I like my job, working part-time as a consultant dietitian. But nothing compares to being "mommy" and wife! ..

I look forward to Christ's return. I would like to meet genuine people.

YES! I love music, good old 80s always makes me laugh, and takes me back to "those days". Lately I'm into the music coming out of the Passion conferences: David Crowder, Matt Redman, Chris Tomlin...I like Jenny Owens, Moya Brennan (Celtic praise), Caedmon's Call, Enter the Worship Circle, Jamie Smith, Amy Nobles...I have this deep love for blue grass music, too. Oh, and Hymnscapes and Simplicity music are great - they put my son to sleep at night ;)
End of the Spear, Walk the Line, Kate and Leapold, Sound of Music, White Christmas, Lord of the Rings (all of them), Chronicles of Narnia: the Lion, Witch, and Wardrobe, Serendipity, Sweet Home Alabama, Count of Monte Cristo, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, The Inn of the Sixth Happiness, Two Weeks Notice, cheesy girl flicks, and old black and white movies.
I don't watch much anymore. The office cracks me up. Any discovery channel program or animal planet show. Love science and nature :)
"Captivating" and in the process of trying to finish "The Present Future" and "Boundaries" - all great books!Started reading Tozer. I'm into books that make me think about life, and that inspire the spirit. I hunger for words that bring life, and that speak to my soul. I try and read God's Word daily, which satisfies my internal spiritual hunger.
I have several thoughts about heroes. A hero is usually in reference to a fictional character, but the first Hero I choose is One who actually lived on this earth, died, and rose again. The One who saved my life - Jesus. I also consider a hero anyone who willingly gives up comfort and convenience and the "American dream" for the sake of Christ. True love takes sacrifice. My prayer is that my boys will be the kind of heroes I've described above.
