Seven years. That's how long I've been saying, "Change Methodical.". Not randomly, like while having sex or waiting in line for the bathroom on airplanes or anything like that. Mostly just when people ask, "Oh, you're in a band? What's it called?". It's a pretty good name. I like how it doesn't obviously sound like the name of a band unlike say perhaps, 'The Banjos'.Anyhow, in those seven years I've done a lot of things that would've never happen if not for being in this band. I've had a Tim Horton's doubledouble in at least 9 provinces and yes, one territory. I've been beaten 3 times in-a-row at chess by the guitar player in one of Sweden's biggest hardcore bands. Once at a show, I madeout with a girl named Eartha (hey darlin'!) in a small BC town and then 3 years later fall in love with and start dating a girl, who it would so happen had been at THAT EXACT SAME SHOW. Not Eartha though. Different girl. That's why it's weird.Most of all, I got to spend countless nights playing music, drinking too much and sleeping in a 1984 Chevy van with three other guys who have as many amazing memories as me. Seven years so far and it's still going. Except for the van. The van stopped going about 2 hours outside Brandon, Manitoba in November 2003. Rest In Peace you big red pile of shit. Rest In Peace.
