ANYONE WITH LARGE OR IMPRESSIVE ALBUM COLLECTIONS. ANYONE WHO UNDERSTANDS THE FINE ART OF WASHING DISHES, TREATS HER OR HIS POTS AND PANS WITH TLC, SEES THE POETRY OF HOUSE CLEANING AND DECLARES WAR ON LIME SCALE AND DUSTY BASEBOARDS. My top three movies in this order: 1) Cries and Whispers by Ingmar Bergman, 2) In the Mood for Love by Wong Kar Wai 3) Out of Africa by Sydney Pollack. Coming in fourth is Mr. Mom, starring Micheal Keaton; Bernardo Bertolucci can suck an egg. The more Korean Films I watch, the more disturbed I become. I like foreign language films regardless, because even if a film sucked, it probably diverged from the Hollywood model and forced me to be analytical at some point in its duration. Also included on my list of favorite movies: Wes Anderson and Owen Wilson films; National Lampoon's European Vacation, Unstrung Heroes; Spinal Tap; Dogma Films (The Celebration, Italian for Beginners, Breaking the Waves); Trois Couleurs; Pretty much anything with Meryl Streep - I love her!; Wet, Hot American Summer; The Big Lebowski; The Piano and other Jane Campion Films; Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas; Wim Wenders' stuff; Monty Python and the Holy Grail; Hysterical Blindness; Blow Dry; Teen Witch; Coming to America; Jesus' Son; Muriel's Wedding; He Died with a Falafel in his Hand; Films by Rainer Werner Fassbinder; Amelie; John Hughes' films; Capturing the Friedmans; Quills; The Burbs; Lost in Translation; Falcons; Loving Glances; Napoleon Dynamite; Welcome to the Dollhouse; The Piano Teacher/Michael Hanneke films;
