Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey

About Me

I am the original Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey. The birth of all bourbon occoured in Kentucky in 1770, where settlers distilled corn whiskey and aged it in charred oak barrels, this is where I get my smoky flavor and dark amber color. In 1795 Jacob Beam, my first and original Master Distiller sold my first barrel of sour mash. I have endured 7 generations of distillers, all in the Beam family. I am now distilled by Frederick Booker Noe III, the great, great, great, great grandson of original distiller Jacob Beam. Also, the distillery to the south, where you find sour mash whiskey in the black bottle, is my lowly and pathetic stepchild. I live with it, but the fact is they are far overpriced, and not the original. Remember, it was Jim Beam BLACK that won america's whiskey competition in 2003, and declared by congress in 1964, it is BOURBON that is the "official native spirit" of the United States.P.S. I can get you DRUNNNNNK
