I discovered my love for music around the age of 11. I had always been around music, weather it be radio, tapes, CD's, church or strumming away at my guitar... which had four strings!! It had always been something i wanted to do on the sidelines but never saw it as a career move until i was jobless and looking for sum entertainment! a close friend of a close person at the time...:S:S:S:S owned a record label and sparked the idea of "music" under the alias of DEVSIE!
I discovered my first love of undergound music thru pirate radio stations pumpin out off beats and warm basslines... i had discovered garage! At first i just used to mess about mc'ing until i met Envious Mind, from then on i couldnt be seperated form his decks!!!!
soon after he upgraded and i brought the decks that i had fell in love with, a pair of numarks and a numark blue dog! garage was my thing for a while but before i got a chance to master the techniques of mixing UKG i heard arsonist at a party and from then on in it was and still is all about DNB!!
I have been mixing for around 4 years now and my new love are Vestax PDX2000's! im not a technics fan which is typical really isnt it?!
