The Bleach Brothers are a two member group which consists of REK (aka REK O’BRIEN) and DIRT(aka DIRT DIGGLER). The tag team hails from Jersey and Queens New York respectively and was formerly known as Q-Jru.Rek is a hard hitting mc that grew up in a Flushing QUEENS housing project “POMONOK HOUSES†whare growing up he was well respected, but these day’s he’s down the block in the Chester, and holds it down for the Queens New York side of things, while Dirt holds it down from the other side of the Goethals Bridge (Dirty JERSEY).Dirt doubles as mc and producer of this groups signature sound and who has also made a name and worked with artists such as Channel Live, Krs-One, Guru from Gangstarr, Sticky fingaz, Master Ace, Akinyele, AZ, and Big L, Mcgruff, OC, The Rangeaz, Nucci Reyo, Half a Mill, Benny Boom, Method man, Street Life, Inspectadek, Raskas, CL Smooth, Carl Thomas, Q-Tip, R.A The Rugged Man, Sadat X, Smooth the Hustler, Trigga The Gambler, Dv Alias Khrist, Big Foot, Tragedy Khadafi, Imam Thug, Killa Sha a.k.a Sha Lumi, Pam from (Total ) Jane Blaze, Leshea, Paula Perry, and Biggie Smalls, just to name a few.This group was formed in late 96’ due to an old friend R.A the Rugged Man setting up a meeting between Tommy’ O Rourke, Rek and Dirt. But the mc’ing of both of these characters dates back to the early 90’s as they are not new to the game and have paid their dues.After Rek and Dirt met they started a Group called Q-jru and put out an underground single called, (U Bless Me feat. Tragedy khadafi-25 to life) that achieved hot 97 airplay in 1997The Bleach Brothers, then known as Q-jru were featured on MTV’S return of the “white rapper†segment alongside of Dr. Dre’s new artist & protoge Eminem and were dubbed as Q-jru the “hard hitting bridge and tunneller’s who have the credibilty and talent to hit bigâ€.After the show aired Q-jru went on to change their name to “The Bleach Brothers†and were featured on the Terror Squad self titled Album w/ Fat Joe and Triple Seis called www.that’s my sh-t .com .They did this collaboration shortly after performing with TS at a show,slightly before the death of Big Pun (R.I.P).one of the illest of all time.WE WORKING HARD IN THE LAB TO GIVE YOU PEOPLE THAT BLOOD AND SWEAT SH-T WE BEEN DOING FOR YEARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
