EASTthree RSC

“East 3” was born in San Fransisco, Ca and raised in Honolulu, HI. Aerosol Artist “East”, started painting at the age of 14 on Oahu (Hawaii). His first commissioned project as an aerosol artist was a mural painted in Hawaii with Phase 2 (NYC) 1993. In 1994, East was recruited by Crazy Legs and was encouraged to begin the Hawaii chapter of RSC. East became the first member of Rock Steady Crew and Zulu Nation from Hawaii. East was featured in the Source Magazine for backdrop installations rendered for a Dr. Dre and Snoop concert in Hawaii. The Source did a follow up article on Hawaii Hip Hop in 2000 which covered East 3 and his current projects. He has also done graphic design work for the Rock Steady Crew/Anniversary, Backspin Productions, Tony Touch, Rawkus Records, Clear Channel Broadcasting, and GQ Magazine. East’s current project is with Anomalies a clothing line that is gaining worldwide recognition thru sales and marketing. East 3 is the head designer behind Anomalies, which was released in the spring of 2005. Below is a brief overview of projects and accomplishments of East to date.
