SUPPORT JAZZ AND R&B!!!!I..ve been going through a lot lately...more than anyone should ever bear...more than anything I could wish upon an enemy...I an beaten, I am bruised, I am battered, I am bloody...yet I remain unbowed.What..s really good people? It..s ya girl Romantical, representing the Dirty South (though people think I..m from up top). I see you ATL, Lithonia, Stone Mountain, all points in the metro area.1st Vice-President of Delta Omicron Int..l Professional Music Fraternity Inc. Epsilon elta Chapter, Charter Line Spring 2005 #1 Pianissimo -1 a.k.a ICE COLD ACE!!!I..ve had a life altering event recently: the birth of my son Quincy a.k.a Buddah, The Boy...etc. (Shouts out to The Boy...Mommy loves you....Do the cookie dance!!)I got the name Romantical in High School...accquiring it somewhere along the way while in Marching Band (Shouts out to Mr. High, Mr. Fanning and The Mighty Marching Bulldogs)Anybody who knows me well knows that I am 92% music, 92% intellect, 92% romantic and 8% grey matter......I know that..s 284% (math was never my strong suit dammit!!!.........kidding)I normally wouldn..t claim that I..m romantic...I don..t really see it myself....it..s just that I..ve been told that many many times. I just treat people the way I would like to be treated. Common courtesy never hurt. (unless that person..s an ass, thenit stings a bit..kidding) If I..m soooo romantic, then you would think more guys would want that. I..malways the girl that gets broken up with because I..m the "marying type"..whatever that means. Don..t take that as a complaint though. I..m cool with me. But enough with the Chivalry P.S.A.......Music is my Achillies Heel....the air in my lungs....a lot of people say that, but they have no idea what it..s like to loose sleep over 8 measures of a Bach concerto, or dissect the inner workings of the uses of an A minor seventh chord. I will be naming all of my kids after musicians and I plan to petition the White House to grant me a legal, common law marriage to my i-pod. Am I obsessed?...maybe.....but at least I..ve found something worth living for. I mostly listen to R&B, but I love all kinds...I..ve been on a rock kick lately....I love to compose and arrange as well. Saxophone is my primary instrument...but I..m learning to play others. I guess that..s all I got for now...I..ll be updating around here more often.
