About Me

I perform with my brothers in Out Of Kontrol at various Renn faires and recently odds and ends around California. If you haven't seen us, I recommend at least 2-3 large beers to get you close to the same mind set we're in. Though a little dash of rum is my preference. I love building, sculpting and learning random new tricks. Dusty and I have an internet radio show, Thursdays at 8pm on Herophont.com. Grab a drink and join us. I enjoy mind puzzles and riddles though I admit that I'm not actually GOOD at them. I have a mixture of liking social gatherings but going through the hating of people as a whole at the same time. Not in a bad mood type way, just very little tolerance for lack of seeing the world around them and not always the best at keeping my mouth shut. I have a good time where-ever in whatever mix I happen to be in. My day job is Jr. sys-admin for a dot com, but I'm working on getting my CCNA and going more in the direction of networking. I work with Strider helping with prop building for LOJ which is one of those things that help maintain a bit of sanity. If you have never been, he has put together an amazing event that has grown better every year. I enjoy mask making, carving and sculpting. I'm going to be working on carving marrionette's out of wood soon.

My Interests

Web Comics, Sculpting, working with my hands, a bit of computer gaming, building random crap, performing, puppets, mask making.

I'd like to meet:

People that can teach me new skills. New places and friends to hang out with here is So Cal, or just hook up with more friends that I'm not used to having close by. I enjoy meeting/BSing with new people.

Music:

Bit of everything except for new country and most rap since late 80's..

Movies:

Mainly unrealistic ones. Very rarely do I want to see a drama or based on a true story movies. I enjoy them for escape. Mindless action, beautiful fantasy, things of that nature. Dark Crystal and Labyrinth are on the top.

Television:

Meh, not really a whole lot, I don't know when anything is on, but a few I'll watch if I happen to catch them and I'm in a vegetable mood. I enjoy House, kind of a kick seeing Hugh Laurie be the genius after seeing him in Black Adder as the twit. I like what I've seen of Lost but it's all on DVD and I've only seen 1st season. Someone got me season 2 for Christmas, I should probably sit down and watch one.

Books:

Fantasy mainly. Tolkien is high on my list. Simarilion (I'm not going to spell check this) took me about 4 times starting it before I read it straight through. Pratchet is another great one. Good Omens with Gaimen was fun as well, I keep meaning to read Neverwhere. Douglas Adams.
